The location near the morning market is fantastic. The bathroom design felt cramped, not ideal for comfort.

The location had convenient access to numerous attractions, making it easy to explore the area. Walking distance to the beautiful waterfront and plenty of dining options nearby was a plus. The breakfast buffet offered an impressive variety of both Japanese and Western dishes, with fresh ingredients that made for a delicious start to the day. However, the bathroom design in the room felt cramped, not providing an ideal space for comfort. Also, there were delays in check-in due to language barriers, which could be improved for smoother service. Overall, my stay was enjoyable, especially the exciting breakfast experience and superb location.

The air conditioning system felt unreliable!!! The older West wing rooms looked outdated, lacking the modernity where most travelers prefer to stay. The onsen area seemed too small for the number of guests, making it overcrowded!!!

The breakfast selection was extensive, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. I enjoyed local flavors while overlooking the picturesque port view, truly a delightful start to the day.

However, the spa experience fell short of expectations, lacking the calming onsen atmosphere I was looking for. The Wi-Fi connection was also unreliable at times, which disrupted my work.

The location of Hakodate Kokusai Hotel is excellent, just a short walk from the Hakodate morning market and other attractions. The breakfast buffet is wonderful, offering a variety of Japanese and Western dishes, making each morning delightful.

the hotel is just a few minutes walk from the station and close to the tram route. our room was a delight, spacious and stylish. the onsen on the top floor had breathtaking views of the harbor, and we enjoyed refreshing ourselves with ice-blocks after each bath. the staff was welcoming, making for a pleasant stay.
